I wish they...What a truly poignant and sad story. I wish they had been able to save Bill's Grocery, but the county had its way with the property. Be assured, though, that your photos enable the grocery to live on with each person who sees them, and, you certainly have been touched and moved by the old abandoned building that once had such a special place in that community. I can relate so well to your feelings here. I would feel similarly if I returned to Lone Star and that old brick building and the other two remaining structures were gone. I don't know how much longer they will be there, but I will continue to photograph them as long as I can. <BR/><BR/>I like your writing so much.
